GASNET is a fire, gas-leakage detection system, specifically designed for use in apartment blocks. GASNET main unit is a touch screen device, which is connected to probes via wireless network.
Residents are immediately advised about dangerous events; GASNET units display event type (fire or gas leakage), location (apartment number and name) and status (event received or not).
GASNET units share alarms and warnings through a double cloud system, implementing a peer-to-peer network. There's no need for a guarded central unit.
Unit malfunction and missed service scheduling are also notified to the others as warnings.
GASNET is installed as a wireless system with a dedicated access point, which is provided with an automatic "monitor and reset" circuit, in order to avoid system blocking.
